主語(yǔ)+ was/were+ 數(shù)詞.
was /wəz/ v.（動(dòng)詞）是

was 是am, is 的過(guò)去式。用在過(guò)去時(shí)態(tài)的句子中。
They were young then. 那時(shí)他們年輕。
用來(lái)描述某人過(guò)去的外貌特征或性格特征的句型
主語(yǔ)（復(fù)數(shù)）+ was/were + 表示外貌特征或性格特征的形容詞.
此句為一般過(guò)去時(shí)的陳述句，常與表示過(guò)去的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)，如then，ago 等連用。其中were 是are 的過(guò)去式。
were /wə（r）/ v.（動(dòng)詞）是
They were naughty then. 他們那時(shí)淘氣。
were 是are 的過(guò)去式。用于一般過(guò)去時(shí)中，其主語(yǔ)應(yīng)該是復(fù)數(shù)人稱或第二人稱單數(shù)。
