►fall用法小結(jié)：
①作不及物動(dòng)詞，“落下；跌倒；(氣溫，價(jià)格等)下降”。
eg：Leaves begin to fall in October.十月，樹(shù)葉開(kāi)始飄落。
②作連系動(dòng)詞，“變得”。后常跟形容詞asleep，ill等作表語(yǔ)。
eg：She was just falling asleep when there was a knock at the door.她剛要入睡，就有人敲門(mén)。
【注意】fell是fall的過(guò)去式，felt是feel的過(guò)去式。兩個(gè)單詞都可跟ill作表語(yǔ)，但意義不同。
eg：She felt ill yesterday.昨天她感覺(jué)不舒服。
She fell ill yesterday.昨天她病了。
