wind/wɪnd/ n.風(fēng),氣流
eg：A warm gentle wind is blowing from the east.
一陣溫暖的微風(fēng)自東方吹來。
wind常用作不可數(shù)名詞，但可以用a＋修飾詞＋wind來表示“一陣……的風(fēng)”，修飾詞可以是strong, high, light等，說明風(fēng)的強(qiáng)度或力量。
eg：There is a strong wind in Beijing.
北京的風(fēng)很大。
windy adj. 有風(fēng)的，多風(fēng)的，風(fēng)大的
eg: It’s rather windy today. 今天風(fēng)相當(dāng)大。

one by one 一個(gè)接一個(gè)
eg：They came in one by one.
他們一個(gè)接一個(gè)地進(jìn)來了。
one by one這個(gè)短語中，one為代詞，代替單數(shù)的人或物，該短語常用于句末作狀語。
eg：Don’t jump the queue. Please get on the bus one by one.
不要插隊(duì)。請(qǐng)一個(gè)接一個(gè)地上車。
類似結(jié)構(gòu)的短語有：year by year一年一年地，day by day一天天，逐日，little by little逐漸地，step by step一步一步地。
year by year強(qiáng)調(diào)每年都有變化，漸變性。而year after year強(qiáng)調(diào)動(dòng)作的重復(fù)性。
eg：My parents become older and older year by year so I go to visit them year after year.
我的父母年年都在變老，所以我每年都要去看他們。
