1. ARG takes care of pets without a home.
動物權(quán)益組織照顧無家可歸的寵物。
【點(diǎn)撥】care名詞，意為“照料，保護(hù)，小心”， care作名詞用時常與動詞take連用, 構(gòu)成短語take care意為“小心”；take care of意為“照顧, 保管”，相當(dāng)于look after。
例如：He is old enough to take care of himself.
他足夠大能照顧自己了。
【歸納拓展】care的不同用法
(1)care作動詞, 意為“關(guān)心；照料”。例如：
I don’t care what will happen.
我不管會發(fā)生什么。
(2)care的形容詞形式為careful，意為“小心的，仔細(xì)的”，副詞形式為carefully，意為“仔細(xì)地，小心地”。例如：
She is a careful girl. 她是一個細(xì)心的女孩。
Jenny writes the exam carefully.
詹妮認(rèn)真地考試。
2. His family left him alone in a field.
他的家人把他撇在田野里。
【自主領(lǐng)悟】alone 副詞，意為“單獨(dú)；獨(dú)自”，用在實(shí)義動詞后，相當(dāng)于by oneself獨(dú)自，leave. . . alone不管；撇下……（一個人）。
