1．there be句型是一種常見的表示“存在”的句型。

(1)“There be＋sb./sth.＋地點狀語”意為“某地有某人/物”。如：

There is a flower in the bottle.

瓶子里有一朵花。

(2)“There be＋sb.＋doing sth.”意為“某人正在做某事”。如：

There are some children playing basketball. 

一些孩子正在打籃球。

2．there be結構中的be動詞的確定

(1)there be結構中的謂語動詞be在人稱和數(shù)上應與其后的主語保持一致。主語是不可數(shù)名詞或單數(shù)可數(shù)名詞時用is/was，主語是復數(shù)可數(shù)名詞時用are/were。如：

There was some money in the purse. 

錢包里有些錢。

There are ten students in the office. 

辦公室里有十名學生。

(2)當句中有幾個并列的主語時，be動詞要與離其最近的一個主語在人稱和數(shù)上保持一致，即遵循“就近原則”。如：

There is a boy, a girl and two women in the house.

房子里有一個男孩，一個女孩和兩位婦女。

3. there be結構的句型轉(zhuǎn)換

(1)否定句

there be句型的否定形式通常在be動詞后加not(在口語中be常和not縮寫在一起)。當肯定句中有some時，要將其變成any。如：

There are some children in the picture.

照片上有一些孩子。

→There aren't any children in the picture.

照片上沒有孩子。
