序數(shù)詞

一、定義

序數(shù)詞是表示順序的詞。

二、序數(shù)詞的構(gòu)成：

(1)第一至第三單獨(dú)成詞，分別是first，second，third。

(2)第四至第十九均在相對(duì)應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞后面加­th，它們分別是fourth，fifth，sixth，seventh，eighth，ninth，tenth，eleventh，twelfth，thirteenth，fourteenth，fifteenth，sixteenth，seventeenth，eighteenth，nineteenth。

在這些序數(shù)詞中，特殊的有fifth，eighth，ninth，twelfth，需要我們特別注意。

(3)整十的序數(shù)詞是把對(duì)應(yīng)的基數(shù)詞的個(gè)位數(shù)變?yōu)樾驍?shù)詞，而十位數(shù)不變。

eg：第26→twenty­sixth。但是個(gè)位數(shù)是1、2、3的序數(shù)詞的個(gè)位分別是first，second，third。eg：第33→thirty­third。

三、序數(shù)詞的用法：

1．序數(shù)詞前面加定冠詞the，但是當(dāng)序數(shù)詞的前面有形容詞性物主代詞、指示代詞時(shí)則不必再用the。

eg：the first lesson第一節(jié)課

his second friend他的第二個(gè)朋友

2．序數(shù)詞常用縮寫形式，即阿位伯?dāng)?shù)字后加序數(shù)詞的后兩個(gè)字母。eg：第31，可以縮寫為31st。

3．序數(shù)詞可以表示“幾月幾號(hào)”中的“幾號(hào)”。eg：

10月15號(hào)　October fifteenth
