Language points

1. look forward to + n. / v.-ing 

期待某事/期待做某事 

如：

He is looking forward to the Dragon Boat Festival.

We are looking forward to visiting Hong Kong.

I am looking forward to your coming.

2. I’m going to enjoy myself during  the May Day holiday.

我打算在五一假期好好玩一玩。

enjoy myself 的意思是“過(guò)的愉快”，相當(dāng)于have a good time.

如：

I hope you enjoy yourself this evening.

我希望你今晚過(guò)的愉快。

3. we’re going to take a walk in the country or go swimming.

我們將去鄉(xiāng)下散步或者游泳。

take a walk 散步，英語(yǔ)中，常用have + n,組成詞組，表示一個(gè)動(dòng)作。如：

have a look 看一看

take a seat 請(qǐng)坐下

take a chance 抓緊機(jī)會(huì)take a walk 散步

還可以是：

have breakfast/lunch/supper 等

【辨析與拓展】

(1) take 常用it作主語(yǔ)。It takes sb. time to do sth. 如： 

It took me three hours to finish my work.完成這項(xiàng)工作用了我3個(gè)小時(shí)。 

(2) spend 則用人作主語(yǔ)，常用的句型是“sb. spends time (in) doing sth.”。 

He spent 30 minutes (in) writing the letter.他用了30分鐘寫(xiě)那封信。 

(3) cost 表示花時(shí)間 句型“It /sth. cost sb. + 金錢(qián)”，表示“某人花……錢(qián)做某事”。 

The TV set cost him 5000 yuan.這臺(tái)電視機(jī)花了他5000元。 

注意：cost—cost---cost 過(guò)去式、過(guò)去分詞和原形一樣。 

(4) pay  多用于句型 pay sth for sth
