Tea plants are grown on the sides of mountains. When the leaves are ready, they are picked by hand and then are sent for processing.

Active voice: People grow tea in Hangzhou.

Passive voice: Tea is grown (by people) in Hangzhou.

一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)的被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)

在英語(yǔ)中,動(dòng)詞有兩種語(yǔ)態(tài),即主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)和被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的基本結(jié)構(gòu)是“助動(dòng)詞 be  + 及物動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞”,其中助動(dòng)詞be有人稱(chēng)、數(shù)和時(shí)態(tài)的變化,其變化規(guī)則與be作為連系動(dòng) 完全一樣。

一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的基本用法

表示經(jīng)常性或習(xí)慣性發(fā)生的被動(dòng)動(dòng)作

I am often asked the question by my pupils. 

表示近期正在發(fā)生的被動(dòng)動(dòng)作

These days people are moved by a teacher named Zhang Lili.

描述某種常態(tài)化的被動(dòng)的客觀事實(shí)

The spaceship is mainly controlled by computer.

強(qiáng)調(diào)目前存在的針對(duì)行為主體人的被 限制性動(dòng)作

You aren’t allowed to take photos.

主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的方法

第一步:將主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的賓語(yǔ)改為被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的主語(yǔ);

第二步:將主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的謂語(yǔ)改為“be+及物動(dòng)詞的過(guò)去分詞“結(jié)構(gòu);

第三步:將主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)的主語(yǔ)改為介詞by的賓語(yǔ),放在謂語(yǔ)之后(有時(shí)可省略)。

把下列的主動(dòng)句變?yōu)楸粍?dòng)句。

1. People play football all over the world.

Football is played all over the world by people.

2. The old man on TV tells a story on Sunday.

A story is told by the old man on TV on Sunday.

3. Students listen to the kind teacher carefully.   

The kind teacher is listened to by students carefully.

1.What language is spoken in Germany?  

在德國(guó)人們說(shuō)什么語(yǔ)言?

Germany名詞,意為“德國(guó)”,是國(guó)家名稱(chēng)。 German是其形容詞形式,意為“德國(guó)的”;還可作名詞,意為“德語(yǔ);德國(guó)人”。

► The weather in Germany is quite different. 

德國(guó)的天氣截然不同。

► A German speaks German. 德國(guó)人說(shuō)德語(yǔ)。   

詞尾為-man表示某國(guó)人的單詞的復(fù)數(shù)形式一般是-man變?yōu)?men。

► an Englishman —— two Englishmen

► a Frenchman  ——  two  Frenchmen

但是, German “德國(guó)人”的復(fù)數(shù)形式則是直接加-s。

► a German  —— two Germans

2. Most of the earth’s surface is covered by water. 

地球表面的大部分被水覆蓋。

surface (the outside or top part of something) 

名詞,意為“表面;表層”。

►The bowl has a shiny surface. 這個(gè)碗表面光亮。

surface (the outer appearance of person, thing or situation.) 作名詞,還可表示“外表;外觀”。

►Her gentleness is only on the surface.

她只是外表溫和而已。

3. Careless driving causes many traffic accidents. 

粗心駕駛導(dǎo)致很多交通事故。

traffic名詞,意為“交通;路上行駛的車(chē)輛”,指的是路上來(lái)往的車(chē)輛和行人,是不可數(shù)名詞。

►There is heavy traffic during the rush hours.

►There is little traffic on this road.
