1. 頻度副詞用在be動詞后。

2. 頻度副詞用在行為動詞前。

3. 頻度副詞用在助動詞與行為動詞之間。

當(dāng)主語是第三人稱單數(shù)時，謂語動詞的形式需做以下變化：
① 一般在詞尾加-s。 help-helps
② 以s, x, ch, sh 結(jié)尾，加-es。 wash-washes
③ 以輔音加o結(jié)尾，加-es。 go-goes
④ 以輔音加y結(jié)尾，變y為i ，加-es。study-studies
